It is the last day of public outdoor swimming throughout the city and the weather makes it more melancholy than usual. Although it is raining, the water is warm and there are only three other people in the pool. The facility is off the beaten track and sits on the edge of the harbour alongside a park, beach (no swimming allowed), trains, bridges, and a grain elevator. Well worth the visit but the pool is now closed until Victoria Day Weekend 2011.
